"Before I could release the weight of my sadness and pain, I first had to honour its existence."

Life can be challenging, and you do not have to face those challenges alone. I’m Caroline, an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist offering a warm, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel heard and begin to make sense of what is happening for you.
You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, grief, stress, relationship difficulties or a loss of confidence. Perhaps you feel overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or unsure why things do not feel right. You do not need to have everything worked out before coming to counselling; we can begin wherever you are.
How I work
My approach is integrative, with a person-centred foundation. This means I take time to understand you and adapt the way we work to your needs, rather than expecting you to fit a particular approach. You will have space to explore what matters to you, at a pace that feels manageable.
Together, we may explore the experiences, relationships and beliefs that influence how you feel about yourself and others. Where helpful, I draw on different therapeutic approaches to help you recognise patterns, find ways of coping and consider what you would like to change.
My background includes counselling in private practice, schools, the charity sector, and health and social care settings. My earlier work in health and fitness also informs my interest in the connection between emotional and physical wellbeing.
I bring warmth, honesty and thoughtful challenge when it may be helpful. I will support you in finding your own understanding and making choices that feel right for you. Our work is shaped around what you need, whether that is support through a difficult period or space to explore longer-standing concerns.
I am registered with the BACP and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
Taking the first step
If you would like to explore counselling with me, please get in touch and ask for Caroline. You are welcome to ask questions about how I work before deciding whether to arrange an appointment.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."

When a relationship feels difficult, it can be hard to know how to move forward. You may find yourselves repeating the same arguments, feeling distant, or struggling to talk without things escalating. I’m Caroline, and I offer couples counselling and psychotherapy to help you understand what is happening between you and explore what you each need.
A space to understand each other
I provide space for both partners to speak and be heard. My role is to help you look at your relationship with greater understanding, rather than decide who is right or tell you whether to stay together. Together, we can explore the patterns that leave you feeling hurt, frustrated or disconnected.
Couples come to therapy for many reasons, including communication difficulties, recurring conflict, a loss of trust, infidelity, intimacy concerns, parenting pressures and changes in family life. You may want to rebuild your connection, work through a particular difficulty, or gain clarity about the future of your relationship.
How I work with couples
My approach is integrative and tailored to your relationship. I help you slow difficult conversations down, notice how you respond to each other and explore what may lie beneath recurring disagreements. This can make it easier to express feelings and needs, listen to one another and begin to respond differently.
We may also consider how earlier experiences and relationships influence the expectations, fears and habits you each bring into your partnership. The aim is to develop understanding that you can use in everyday life, alongside practical changes in how you communicate and relate to one another.
Before beginning work together, I take time to understand each partner’s perspective and consider whether couples therapy is appropriate. Where there is fear, intimidation or controlling behaviour, safety takes priority and a different form of support may be needed.
You do not need to agree about everything to benefit from therapy. What matters is having space to explore your relationship honestly and make thoughtful choices about what comes next.
Making an enquiry
To ask about couples counselling and psychotherapy, please contact me and ask for Caroline. I can explain how the initial appointments work and answer any questions you may have.
I’m Craig, an experienced hypnotherapist with a background in psychology, health and wellbeing. I work with you to understand what you would like to change and explore an approach that fits your needs.
You may be looking for help with stress, anxiety, sleep difficulties, confidence, phobias or habits that feel difficult to change. You do not need to have tried other therapies first, or know much about hypnosis, to get in touch.
Hypnotherapy uses focused attention, guided relaxation and suggestion as part of a therapeutic process. You remain able to communicate and make choices throughout. I will explain how I work, answer your questions and agree the focus of our sessions with you.
Depending on your goals, I may combine hypnosis with coaching, mindfulness or other techniques from my training. We will work together to explore the thoughts, feelings and behaviours connected with your difficulty and develop ways to support change.
To find out more about hypnotherapy, please get in touch and ask for Craig.
Making changes can feel difficult, even when you know what you would like to do. I offer coaching to help you clarify your goals, understand what gets in the way and identify realistic steps forward.
We can explore motivation, confidence, habits and the pressures that affect your wellbeing. I draw on my background in psychology and health to support changes that fit your circumstances. Coaching can be offered on its own or alongside hypnotherapy, depending on what we agree would be helpful.
To discuss health and wellbeing coaching, please contact me and ask for Craig.

I offer coaching for the psychological side of sport and outdoor activities, including climbing and bouldering. As a qualified rock climbing instructor with experience across a range of adventurous activities, I understand how confidence and mindset can affect both performance and enjoyment.
We can work on concerns such as fear of falling, performance anxiety, loss of motivation or rebuilding confidence after an injury. Sessions provide space to understand what is holding you back and develop practical ways to approach your activity with greater confidence.
I offer online and face-to-face support. Where appropriate, we can also discuss working together during your activity. To find out more, please get in touch and ask for Craig.
